I see that as an admirable response to a problem in their community and it should accomplish its intended result and help New Orleanians get jobs."

I admire their efforts. They saw members of their community having problems, and set out to solve those problems. In the video is important information about public transportation in Houston, for example.

As I said, I guess my problem is choice of words. There is nothing wrong with "thinking like a Houstonian." However, the two in the video are not really asking people to think like a Houstonian, but to think like good job seekers.

By asking the viewers of the video to "think like a Houstonian," they are saying that there is something wrong with thinking like a New Orleanian.

But, you are right. This is based in reality. If the people are staying in Houston, they need to think of themselves as Houstonians. They shouldn't have to give up their NOLA-ness, though.da po' boyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13639638708282388176noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15755953.post-1168332696294528422007-01-09T02:51:00.000-06:002007-01-09T02:51:00.000-06:00dude that is over the top in that you are only tak...dude that is over the top in that you are only taking one side of the argument.

yah this sucks but it is also based in reality.

whats your take?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
